KINGSTON, ONTARIO;  On July 12th 2025, the Kingston Sharks hosted the 2025 Spring OWFL Championships at Queen's University Richardson Stadium.   This year we had 13 - 19U Women's Teams and 4 - U16 Women's Team that competed for the chance to compete in the Championship Weekend.  The games were amazing to watch and we saw 4 new Champions this year:

19U PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONS:

       The LONDON WOLFPAAC met the PEEL PANTHERS and it was a close faught battle with the WOLFPAAC coming out on top with a nail biting 15 to 14 Win.

19U Tier 2 CHAMPIONS:

          The SUDBURY SPARTANS met the ETOBICOKE EAGLES and it was an a great game with the SPARTANS coming out on top 48-8.

19U Tier 3 CHAMPIONS:

      The HAMILTON JR TICATS met the BEL-AIR LIONS on the field.   The BEL-AIR Lions came out on top with a score of 27 - 6.

U16 CHAMPIONS

       The CUMBERLAND PANTHERS met the defending 2024 Champions PEEL PANTHERS for the second year.  The CUMBERLAND PANTHERS put on a great display and finished on top with a score of 58 - 28.

       The OWFL would like to thank the Kingston Sharks for hosting the event, all the Officials, Football Ontario staff, Queen's University Stadium Staff, all the Coaches and staff, Players and Parents and especially all the volunteers who made this all possible.
